Camping at the 71-site developed Fruita campground is a popular activity at Capitol Reef National Park. “With the campground being remote and first-come, first-served, it can be a challenge to find a site in the busy season” says park staff Keri Pace. In an effort to allow for advanced trip planning the majority of the campsites will be reservable starting next year. Campers will be able to book reservations for campsites for the 2018 season at www.recreation.gov (link is external), a well-established reservation system, starting February 1, 2018. The majority of campsites will be reservable from March 1 to October 31, with a handful of sites remaining first-come, first-served. The campsites will not be on the reservation system from November 1 to the end of February. The cost for an individual campsite will remain $20.00 per site and accommodate up to eight people, with a reduced rate for Access and Senior Pass holders

Das erscheint mir auch wichtig für alle, die ihre Planung schon fertig haben und hier auf eine fcfs-Site hoffen ! Da heißt es jetzt am 01.02. pünktlich vor dem Rechner zu sitzen.
Ich habe es deswegen auch unter dem "Aktuelles"-Reiter veröffentlicht.

10:00 EST = 16 Uhr dt. Zeit (sofern die Haushaltssperre bis zum 01.02. wieder aufgehoben wird und die Nationalparkverwaltungen zum Normalbetrieb zurückfinden)

laut https://www.recreation.gov/ soll die Reservation seit 23.01. wieder online sein. Ich habe aber immer noch eine "Shutdown"-Meldung. Weiss jemadn etwas genaueres ab wann das wieder klappt?

danke dir :) Da hatte ich wohl einen falschen Link. Mein Link (von google kommend) hat noch auf den Shutdown verwiesen und das regreation.gov nicht verfügbar wäre.
